"1998 Honda Civic hatchback Good winter tire on ice and hardpack snow, but where this tire really shines is on fresh deep snow. No matter how much I try, I cannot get this tire to slip or slide. On dry pavement, handling is a little twitchy and 'jello' like, especially at high speeds on heavily grooved concrete. Very quiet tire, soft ride. With the tread wear I'm getting, I should get three or four winters out of this set."

"Don't let the rating fool you. This is a winter tire, it is a 5 out of 5 for November to March driving. It is soft in corners and handling is not incredible, but it will go throught the worst snow and beg for more. Put 4 of these on a 2002 SER and the car went from undrivable to a tank in the snow. I'd highly recommend. These are the bar by which all other snow tires should be measured."

"Had these on a contour SVT, in Montreal and these are the BEST winter tires period. ice grip rocks, snow bites is excellent. Even treadwaer is aceptable (four winters / 25 000 km). Only drawback is about dry steering feelings, very "mushy", especially when new. "

"1998 Neon in Southern Ontario. I got(3) winters out of one pair and the other is on its last season. Great in snow, not bad in ice. Soft steering and poor wet perfomance in braking). I am going to try a pair of "WinterForce" brand tires this season on the fronts."

"01 toyota Prius We run the XL version. Used two seasons on our carshare vehicles, still some tread left. Some customers complain about them being too soft laterally on dry pavement. I am looking to replace them with a different, stiffer, more reinforced tire for the extra weight of the Prius. Would recommend them for most other cars, for the price."

"Put these on an AWD audi that was downright dangerous with the original sport tires. Had to do a panic stop tonight when someone pulled out in front of me, and who knows what would have happened with the old tires. We have snow and black ice here alot so I didn't know what to expect but these tires make me feel very secure on the road even when slick."

"Bought these tires for my '88 Plymouth Voyager, and couldn't believe how these tires BITE their way through the snow... deep snow too! Deliberately drove up a medium grade hill at a snail's pace, to see how these tires would do in the snow and ice, and had NO PROBLEM making it up the hill. No wheel-spin, and absolutely no extra throttle needed. Also, unless you corner like you think you're driving an Indy car, these tires have suprisingly good tread life too."

"'98 Integra GSR - I bought these 5 years ago for winterization instead of the stock Michelins which perform badly in Canadian winters. They stick like gummy bears on icy roads, truly great tires for winter driving. However, on dry pavement they are noisy and change the feel and handling of the car."

"2004 Subaru STi - Flat out amazing snow tires. I've had a variety of AWD winter cars and various winter tires and these are the best for extreme winter conditions. They are not a compromise dry/snow road compromise but if you need confidence when the roads get bad these are your winter tires. If you drive them easy on dry pavement they will last several seasons."
