"1993 BMW325is - 205/60R15 - North of Toronto (York Region), Canada. Excellent/BEST winter tire. Last time I bought was during a blizzard. Driving out of the shop parkinglot was an instant satisfying change! Owned 3 sets of 4 over these last years. Fastest wearing winter tire I've owned. Toughest decision is when I take them off after winter, will I REALLY use them again at end of year or buy a new set? 2004-2005 winter was the second winter with same set (first time). Not the same as a fresh set. Came spring 2005 and decided to keep them on, coz I'm not going to use them this Nov-Dec 2005. Now (Oct 05) two rear are bald (obviously as meant for winter). That's why I'm here shopping and debating on a different (longerlasting) tire, or this one that I know works."

"Toyota Paseo - 175/65/R14 - The Blizzak is verry good on ice, just on ice. I d'ont like the Blizzak's handling and treadwear. My favorite is Toyo Garit HT"

"92 Metro - 175/70R13 - These TIRES rock!!! Especially for a very very light weight car?! These ARE my first purchase of winter tires -- tired of the lousy traction that all season tires provides in extreme winter conditions in Canada. Just recently there was a big snowstorm and I was just laughing at all the sliding, doughnuts and spin-outs I was witnessing (reminded me of all the years of unnecessary sliding, spin-outs and etc.). I do now believe winter tires are truly necessary for our lousy winter weather. These tires have excellent traction in the snow (even in fresh heavy packing snow), very good traction on ice, but on dry the tires are a little bit soft and noisy (but so what at least driving in the other slop makes up for these little inconveniences). Don't listen to any that bad mouth this tire -- obviously they do not know how to drive safely."

"Opel Astra Caravan - 205/55/16 - 2005 Opel Astra Caravan, 205/55/16, Ekaterinburg, Russia. A new tires for a new car. I have interrupt my 4 winter seasons experience with Yokohama. Buy a set of 4 month ago. First impression - Yokohama is much cofident on snow and ice. However, WS-50 are very good winter tires with good traction both on ice and snow, braking as well as a most valuable featuries for driving in extreme Russian winter conditions."

"2002 S10 X-Cab V6 - 215/70/15 - Excellent tire when used only in the winter/cold months. A little squishy when pushed, not a performance tire, if you need the ultimate traction for winter driving, this is the tire. NOT for hard driving or warm weather as tire is VERY soft and will wear VERY quickly once the weather warms up."

"Mazda MPV - G35 Coupe - 15 to 16 " - Have a set of these tires on both cars and have been excellent on ice and snow. Not sure what some people are complaining about treadwear as I am on second season without much wear on them. These tires are not to be driven aggressively but that goes without saying."

"95 grand prix,+ 98 oldsmobile intrigue - p205/70/r15 + 225/60/r16 - Driven over 200,000 km/120,000 miles between both cars in the last few seasons and have to say they are excellent on snowy roads and good on ice! The sticky feel on the road may put off some drivers but is side effect of excellent traction. If you like the handling of the MZ-02 Blizzaks try Michelin X-Ice or Yokohama Ice Guards(done 50,000km on all three of these tires) special Uni-T compund wears out fast in above 7 degree celcius weather so take em fast and they will last much longer! Tried the leave the MZ-02 Blizak on all year and had to change very bald tires in august!"

"2004 toyota sienna - 21565R16 - Best winter tire for any type of minivans. Very good grip in snow. But be sure to remove tires when snow is over, these tires wear very fast on dry roads. "

"1999 Pontiac Grand Prix gt - 205/70 R15 - Amazing tire, no additional noise noticed, very comfortable, very little tread ware noticed after one season of heavy driving in a Canadian winter and personal testing yielded incredible breaking results in very poor driving conditions. "
