"F150 - I've replaced..replaced..replaced these tires many times due to flats(nails..etc..)tread wear is very bad. Dangerous on wet roads and lacks the security you would like to have in snow. tread chucks out on outer tread( an not because of off-road riding) Not worth the money due to wear and performance.BEWARE BEWARE"

"This is a very good performing tire. If you wrote a bad review, you probably did not keep up with your FREE rotations every 6k, or have them balanced at least once a year, nor had your vehicle aligned once a year, nor had recommended shock replacement every 40k. These are basic necessities for any tire's health. Go to the mirror and complain to your self that you are too cheap to properly maintain your vehicle. P.S. any non-snow tire really does not do well in the snow!!!"

"Saturn Vue - Pretty good tires BUT the tread wear was poor. After 60,000 km (36,000 mi). Firestone warrantee is pretty poor. Make it very hard to get a rebate on the warrantee."

"2000 jeep wrangler - Dry traction is excellent, hydroplanes too easy, haven't tried them in the snow, handle as well as can be expected for a large tire, ride comfort wasn't bad, noise wasn't noticeable over noise from soft-top, treadwear is terrible. I put about 25k on them living in florida - all pavement except for a few quick rides in the mud. They have maybe 1/4" of tread left at best. When the tread was newer, the few times I took them mudding, they handled great."

"Nissan Pathfinder - These tires are horrible. They are ok for dry pavement. If you encounter wet or snow they offer very little. They wore out after 25,000 miles. "

"ford ranger - my dad and i both had duelers put on our trucks on the same day, i drive a ranger and my tires still look brand new, but his are wearing real bad. Ive heard a lot of bad things from full size truck/van owners about the quick uneven wear. in my case they have been great."

"1999 F-250 Crew Cab 4x4 - I see a lot of complaints, but with 4.30 limited slip, these things only slip when going backwards up a hill. Tread is 'ok' at 65000 miles. That has to be better than a 5, but the wet and snow has been crappy for a year or two now. I don't know if I want to replace with same or another brand. Treadwear was best I've seen in any tire ever since I know I rotated tires about every 12k-20k, not religiously, but never neglected. Dry traction is always the same; going forward makes my truck "HOP", going backwards gets weight transfer to cause slipping."

"01 Jeep Cherokee - 225/75/15 - I purchased four of these tires to replace the stock Goodyears that came with my Jeep. I used both sets of tires about 80% on road, and 20% of pretty harsh off-road. Overall the Duelers did much better than the Goodyears, especially in the wear department. I've ben VERY happy with the Bridgestones and am now looking to get a new set. I'll probably try the REVO's this time. I have taken my vehicle through every possible terrain you can imagine off-road, and these tires have performed very well in every area EXCEPT SNOW. I found them to be lacking in that area, but because of where I live, that's not much of a problem for me. I recommend these to other desert rats like me who enjoy leaving the passenger cars on the highway and taking the road less travelled."

"Toyota Tacoma - 30X10.5 - Great off road and on dry pavement. Ok in the rain but terrible in the snow. Even with about 1000 pounds of gear to weight down the truck these tires would just not grip in the snow. Also only lasted about 42,000 miles until needed replacement with a pretty typical mix of freeway, city and offroad use."

"1996 Ford Explorer - 255 70 15 - Just installed a set last week, not sure why all the negative writeups on this tire, compared to the Goodyear Wrangler GS-A that were on the vehicle previously...the D693 were well worth the money! Could not rate the Snow traction of Treadwear catogories for now, will rate them on a future date. So far these tires make me smile...they look agressive and complement the truck well. Driveability is also a thumbs up! "
