"2001 Impreza RS - 205-55-16 - The ratings here are I think inflated, everyone giving a 4/5 or 5/5. So I will follow the lead. The tires are OK however for travelling at 60mi/hr. They are not performance tires as I found the sidewalls to be soft on this tire size and curb weight of vehicle. I used Nokian Hakka 1 before and at 195-60-15 they felt stiffer and more comfortable at higher speeds."

"Focus SVT - 215/45/17 - Great in snow, a little squirmy the first week though but gained confidence in them every day. Drove about 12k miles over the light snow winter and tires still look good enough for probably 2 winters more. Felt good the start of spring but didn't want to ruin my soft tire/sidewall tires going through the turns :-)"

"VW Passat GLX VR6 - 185/65-15 - Excellent winter tires for both snow and ice. It tracts very well in heavy snow. Very quite on hwy speed. "

"Chrysler LHS - 225-60-16 - One of the worst winter tires I have ever had, and trust me, in Montreal we need them! They performed well the first 5-7000km; after that they will slip on dry asphalt! Probably the smaller size are better, but on my car they simply not performed!"

"Mazda 323F - 175 65 R14 - We have had a preety tough winter last season (2005-2006). I've been using Nokian for two seasons but suddenly felt that safety of these are getting out of control. Decided to switch to others. Been offered Dunlop Graspic DS-2 and it felt like summer has got under my weels. Precise and comfortable control was present immediatelly after changing to Dunlop. "Kia Spectra - 195-60-15 - Ran ds-1's on my 2000 maxima last winter really liked them. Bought them for our 06 spectra this winter great on snow and ice but side wall is squishy on the highway. Other than that great all round tire."
