"I drive a 2001 Mazda Protege ES with eibach pro-kit springs.I love these tires on dry pavement.I can corner like crazy with them.The bad news is tread wear when you do this as often as i do.I have 27,300 kms on them and they start to screech now,when i do quick turns.I don't find the noise very comforting that's why iam thinking about purchasing new tires.I have never had any noise problems until now.On wet pavement they're pretty good.On snow,if there's not too much,just drive slowly.Definitely not recommended for heavy snow fall."

"Orig. equip. on 2000 Maxima. Great handling on dry, wet good, snow is a question as we have had little in last 2 years. Got 73K (mostly highway) on these but need to give in and buy a new set."

"These replaced the original Goodyear RSA's on my Dakota RT and are by far a better tire all the way around. Excellent stopping ability, they probably improved my 70 mph stop by 15-20 feet. They have great off line traction. Pretty darn good in wet weather considering they are on a truck. Very quiet and great road feel and response. I highly reccommend these tires. Hard to say on tread wear just have had them approx,5000 mi but so far looks good. "

"2001 Acura CL S type. These tires are a vast improvement over the OEM michelin pilots. The pilots were noisy on concrete pavement. The dunlops are at least 30% quieter. Handling is about the same. Havent had them on snow yet. Tire size 215/50/17."

"These tires are great. this is my second set on my 1994 Mustang GT and they hold up great. Current set has 61000km on them and there is at least another 20000km left. Even with all the burnouts. Dry tration is great even at high speeds and wet traction on the highway is ok. Hold up well under hard cornering and braking. Wet tration in the city isn't great but they work. When they do see snow I don't have a complaint. Gets good traction without additional rear axle weight. 245/45/ZR17"

"Put these on my 1993 Pontiac Bonneville SLE last summer. A tremendous improvement over the Kelly Aquatours I had previously. A little bit noisy, but corner great. Also, very confident feeling in the rain. I don't drive this vehicle in the winter, so I can't speak to snow and ice performance. I would buy them again."

"2000 Ford Crown Victoria. The first impression with these tires is that they STICK on dry pavement. My stock tires were Goodyear Eagle LS. The SP Sport 5000s were 225/60R16 so they were the symmetrical tread pattern. 55 series and lower use the assymetrical tread. Hydroplane resistance is SUPERB, wet and dry handling is fantastic. The only negative is snow traction and handling. My Vic felt like a Mustang on a dirt oval track in the snow. RIde comfort is great, there's no abnormal noise (quieter than stock factory tires), and the treadwear is decent. I drive very aggressively and the SP Sport 5000s have held up very well."

"25 000km later, and they're completely used up. I have to change them. Disappointed with the treadwear. Otherwise, good overall tire. However, I will not buy them again because of their relatively high cost and low tread life. I think I'll go for the Toyo Proxes TPT, treadwear rating is 400; better than 340 on the Dunlops."

"On Mazda Protege 5: My only major complaint is that the tires needed to be changed at 23 000 km. Thatès a little over a year of use! Otherwise good overall tire though I wouldnèt recommend them because of their high price and low mileage."
