"Original equipment on my 2001 Mazda Protege ES. EXCELLENT on dry pavement. HORRIBLE in the snow. SCARY from time to time when it rains because they hydroplane easily. Have 41,000 on them and are about ready to be retired."

"Came with the new Mercedes ML500. To achive a good handling and traction, I had to adjust the pressure very accurately. Durability is terrible because in the first month one of the tires blew up in the middle of the highway. I am very concerned now for the other 3 tires.. sidewalls are very thin.. can not even handle a sharp pebble."

"Tires were on a Protege 5. They are horrable in Canadian winter. I got stuck at a MacDonalds Drive Thru and 5cm of snow. Tread lasted 28000 km. Performance in summer was ok for 1 year. A little expensive for 1 summer"

"Had OE 195/50r16's on 2002 Mazda Protege'5, worn down to quickly, poor grip on hard acceleration, poor wet traction, fair to good cornering, poor snow traction, I now have a set of 205/70r15 Yokohama Sport AVS's holding up very well, still some wet traction issues with those(even they can't get all the power to the ground when you nail it, spin, spin, hop, hop, hook.... gone."

"Came OEM on My Mazda PR 5 Handeling great in summer, winter is just scary. No traction at all. Even in the rain. Going to buy the Toyos to replace them. Tred Life, Completely spent at 23K miles. Not enough for the high price....Mazda needs a better OEM (BTW, Dealerships NEVER have them, so if you blow one, you are screwed until they get one in. Call your dealership, you will see!!)"

"OEM tires on my 02 Protege. Stick lie glue on dry roads, pretty good in the rain. Little noisy when new, very noisy now at 30k. Time for new tires but going for a better rain tire for down here in south florida. Going with Eagle F1 GS D3. "

"OEM on 2002 Mazda Protege5 (195/50/16) Pros: Very good dry handling and cornering for an all-season tire. Cons: poor wet traction, poor winter traction, stiff ride, unrealistic treadwear rating of 340 UTGQ: very low tread life (only 4/32nds tread depth left after 25 000km under normal driving conditions), expensive. Would I buy again? No due to unacceptable treadwear for the cost. "

"Great looking tire, but only minimal wear at best and after about 20k miles noise is comparable to a 4x4 truck tire. Used on Nissan Altima SE."

"These tires replaced the Michellin XGT V4 tires that came with my car. The dunlops allow me to corner much harder on dry pavement. They arent too bad on wet roads either. I used them in snow for the first time last week. Snow performance is definately better than that of the Michellins. However, it is not that great. That is what you sacrifice to get a true performance tire. I would definately purchase these tires again. Jessie Irie 2000 Civic SI 1980 Toyota Tercel"

"Have owned these tires for 2.5 years on a Lexus GS400 (I know - wrong tires for car), and could not have been more dissatisfied. Tires could not be balanced (10-15 tries) and developed flat spots after parking for just 2-3 hours. Were noisy with poor road holding. Would not recommend in a million years. Stay Away!!!"

"Used these as my 4th set of tires on a 90 tbird. They stuck well in the corners, and I was pleased with the wet weather/snow performance which we get occasionally in Texas. They were great tires for the first year and a 1/2. They are noisy now that the wear bars are showing. I can't be replacing tires every 2 years. I need a tire that can live for more than 20,000 miles, so I'm looking for something different this time."

"1999 BMW323is 20k miles 3 alignments to confirm car was in spec, multiple balances and 7 tire rotations. After 1st 5k miles started to get noisy. Checked Alignment and Rotated tires, got quiet again for 1k. Now rotation will not quiet down noise from tires. Sounds like 4x4 with mud tires. Tire shop says they are cupped., shouldn't be with all the rotations and alignments. Won't buy another set."
