"On my '87 Turbo Slantnose and for the money a very decent, quiet and good looking tire. Never drove in the rain with the SP 8000's but dry handling is respectable. "

"1998 audi 2.8 quattro. Excellent dry. Good wet. Snow - don't know (i'm in texas) BUT THESE ARE SUMMER TIRES AS ADVERTISED. The handling is great. Tread wear is bad."

"Audi A-4 1.8t - after 30K miles in 1 year. Excellent tire, great grip doing 45 on a 25mph off ramp. Keep the tire pressures up to above 40psi to get the longevity. No experience in the snow but handles good in the rain. Noise increases as tires wear, but not offensive. "

"volvo - 2 years of commuting - not bad for a tire w/bad treadwear (true). Good comfort and no noise, great cornering. But if you drive agressively, be prepared to chenge them out every year, or sooner."

"C36 AMG - Awesome in the summer, they stick to the road like glue. Very poor treadwear and lacked in wet handling. Would not recommend these if it rains where you are a lot. Only got 20,000km out of these and will be looking at some of the newer tires on the market."

"BMW 540i - The "8000" is for 8000 miles. At that point they get bald and noisy. Blew out at 10K. Granted, this car goes through all rear tired faster than normal, but these lasted half as long as others. Snow traction is terrible."

"1995 Porsche 993 C4 - 255 40ZR17 & 205 50R17 - These tires stick. High speed handling, braking are great. The bad aspect is treadwear. Adding that I have a rear engine, my backs have to be replaced at about 8000 miles to 12,000 (I am on my 4th, maybe 5th set). Fronts about 18,000 to 20,000 miles. I once switched to a top (higer) rated Bridgestone (forget which), but it had some subtle wobble in turns that I disliked. I can't say how these are in the rain as with my AWD and viscous clutch, it's not as easy to loose the turn. For me these tires are great (except treadwear)."
