Anonymous"91 Civic Si - 91 Civic si Solo II car. Ran these at 42/38 and was extremly happy. For a tire with a tread of 420 they stick real well, I couldn't get them to break loose (nearly, but not quite). Good for the street with a lot of wet weather traction too."

RAY"2001 VW EUROVAN GLS - 235/60-16 100H. sufficient load rating , sporty looking tread design, refined ride , very quiet and smooth, great dry/wet traction Original Dunlops hydroplaned easily, these Falkens charge thru the same wet highways with no problem, value hard to beat. With this heavy van I figured a good compromise is to use 40psi in front and 36psi rear with light load. Any lower in front and van seems to plow slightly in brisk cornering."

Anonymous"1999 Impreza RS 2.5 - This tire is unsafe on a sporty, handling oriented vehicle. I've used inexpensive all season performance tires in the past but the sidewalls on these are frigteningly soft. Initial turn in is poor and you can actually feel the car rock as the sidewalls roll. A small shake of the steering wheel will put the most experienced driver into a "all hands on deck - what was that" attitude. I've used Kuhma 711's (17"), BF goodridge Comp Vr4s - never have I seen such a crummy handling (scary) tire."

Anonymous"2001 Toyota Solara V6 - I am not a frustrated NASCAR driver. I do take winding back-roads to work. Have had the OEM Bridgestones, Michelin MXV4 V rated and Dunlop SP Sport A2. None of the tires yielded more than about 24k miles so, after reading the CR report, went with these tires. If you are going to do freeway (no curves) driving these are a bit fidgety but very good tires. The curves that I used to negotiate without any problems at moderate speeds with the previous three sets of tires, now have become an adventure. The car squirms and I feel as if I am going to lose the rear end. Not recommended. "
