Anonymous"YOU TOO!!!! I live up in Edmonton, and these tires just suck for winter. Yes they are not winter tires, but they certainly are not all season tires. They are good for the spring, winter, and Fall but not winter. The tires become hockey pucks. Hard and frozen. I've had some close dangerous calls in winter because of these tires. So much for all season tires! Plus they don't last long."

Bobby Peters"2000 Toyota Solara SLE - The tire performed great. Good traction in the wet and great in dry conditions. The only down side was they only lasted for 40,000 miles."

Anonymous"93 prelude 3 inch drop - just got these tires 5 days ago. I previously had nankangs ns-1 in 205 40 17. Those tires handled great for the price i paid. My car handled like a race car. So i got the falkens in 205 40 17 figuring it ll be a good upgrade, but i was wrong. These tires are really bad. squirmy, in turns, even my car being so low, i feel like the rear tires are about to come off, they are not that sticky either, i tried to burn out a few times in 5 days, and i would just hear the tire spin and nothin. The cheap nankangs would create a cloud of smoke in a burn out. Plus i hate how it has the protective lip around the wheel, cause it makes the thread impacting the ground a lot smaller, its very scary to take sharp turn and any other quick moves. I my car handles like a 4x4 right now, even tho i have a full custom suspension set up, i m scary, so i m trying to get rid of those tires asap, i d go back to my cheap nankangs if i had a choice."

GC"2000 Subaru Outback Wagon (4 cylinder) - Great grip, and excellent handling. But the tires have worn out in less than 20K miles. They also seem to have gotten noisier as the tread has worn. "

Anonymous"92 prelude, no mods. Good steady ride. Tread-life is not good and have deeply woren in about 30,000's worth of driving. Gripe was good when new..not much slipping in first 2-3 months, after that tires slip very easily in semi-wet roads. Good price per value though....tire grip decreases quick over time quickly...When tested in raining after tire was wore..car will hydroplain and does not feel safe in highway speeds.Road noise is considered as quiet and great on gas. Read lots of other reviews here and am surprise with the mixed results...Very good reviews must come from larger surface area tires... My tire size is 205/55R15. "

Anonymous"1991 626 GT - I am running the 512's in a 195/60 15 size. So far, I am fairly pleased with the tire. Dry grip is more than acceptable given their treadwear rating. They are relatively quiet and don't put up a fuss until you push them pretty hard. I have only run them once in the snow, and the tires started to show their all-season roots. Traction was adequate at best. I may be looking into some dedicated snows to get me through the winter. I have had one issue. When I bought the set, I got one "bad" tire. It caused the car to pull horribly to one side. It was replaced, but it looks like I have another tire that is causing a pull. I know these are inexpensive tires, but it looks as though Falken's Quality Control isn't very stringent."

Shady"Mercedes 300 E W124 - I'm running 215/60 R 15 on stock alloy rims. Excellent traction on the hot, dry and mostly badly paved roads here in Saudi Arabia, but the car handled poorly every since I installed, especially when passing trucks at speed. After I did a major overhall of the steering and suspension, the car still handled badly, with poor on-center feel and sluggish steering response. Mercedes dealer told me that the tires were to blame, probably because of bad storage. The car vibrated at 130km/h and 160km/h, even though the tires seemed perfectly balanced on the machine! I'm dumping them and getting something else, probably Hankook Ventus or Toyo Proxes (depending on how the dealer stores the tire stock!)"

Jim"These tires ride very smooth and quiet with decent wet traction. The accolades stop there. I made the mistake of buying them for my 2001 Toyota TRD Corolla. These tires feel very soft and squirmish when driving other than a straight line. In a turn they are very scary. I would not recommend these tires to anyone who does highway driving. I can't wait to replace them!!!"

Dennis"2002 Hyundai Sonata - Using these tires on my Sonata to replace the stock Michelin Energy tires. Was apprehensive at first to switch to Falken over the $150 (USD) stock tires. But, it's been 6 months and I love the tires. Quiter and more grip then the stock tires. Looks good and the performance makes these tires well worth the purchase."
