Kathryn"on '02 Mercury Mountaineer, came factory and they are HORRIBLE!!!! I would NEVER consider purchasing the Eagle LS - as indicated in other reviews, the traction in rain >10k miles is frightening at best, and they tend to spin at the slightest provocation on dry pavement as well! 1 of the 4 is totally bald after 36k miles & the others aren't far behind(with proper rotation) and neither Goodyear nor Mercury will admit these tires DON'T WORK ON SUV'S!!!"

Anonymous"OEM on 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix GT, smoothest, quietest car I've owned, wet traction seems every bit as good as dry, never had them on snow nor intersate driving. Not an overly aggressive driver. I've not noticed the excessive noise many reviewers complain about, but my previous vehicles were much less luxury that the GP ('70 Challenger, '73 1-ton van, '73 Charger, '81 O24). Approx. 7000 miles and plenty of tread. Would most likely buy them for replacements with the H rating, but will wait and see."

However, this last set has given me only about half that. One tire came apart. Plus, they have begun to cause a severe shake in the steering wheel. This was resolved by replacing two tires. Now the other two are doing the same thing. No more Eagles for me, thank you."

S.A.B."2003 Ford Mustang Convertible. Tires seem out of round even though they've been checked. Steering wheel vibrates at slower speeds. Traction doesn't seem bad yet with only 2000 miles on the car but the tires don't corner like I'd prefer. "

swanee"2000 Olds Intrigue. Car was equiped with these from factory. Racked up 80000 kilometres on them with no significant problems other than some road noise. Not great in snow. Although they still probably had another 10-15000 kilos of life left decided to replace them with new Michelin hydroedge. Overall my experience with these tire was good. "

Anonymous"2001 Dodge Dakota 2wd Clud Cab -- Good dry traction for first 20000km. Terrible tire spin in rain, snow, and mud. Truck slides four feet when breaking on slightly mudded streets (ie new subdivisions). Now looking for new tires. Goodyear dealer laughed at my tires and doesn't know why Chrysler puts car tires on trucks. I am going to try Bridgesone Dueler AT Revos."

Tubaman"97 Grand Prix GT (oem) 02 Grand Prix GT (oem) Had them as OEM on my two GP's. For the first 5000 KM they were GREAT. Then the Jeckyll and Hyde effect started. First was increased road noise. Then came very poor wet performance followed by tire squeal during moderate cornering. Add to that body roll during ANY quick (not hard or aggressive) steering. I switched from these on both cars as soon as possible. In both cases I went to an H rate Dunlop and found a huge improvement in performance, noise, handling and comfort. They may come with the car but I will get rid of them every time at the earliest oppourtunity if I get them again "

MD Brown"OEM tires on 2000 Dakota. Not worth owning from the start and shot at 32,000, non-abusive miles. One has every right to expect more from a $135 tire. Wet/Dry traction was never very good, and only gets worse with mileage. Decent cornering tire, but there are FAR better tires available for less money. I would never purchase these tires - I can't imagine why anyone would. Goodyear made a good tire at one time - there line is now noticeably inferior to most Michelin and Bridgestone tires, especially when it comes to truck applications. "

Nick"I moved here from the UK and bought a VW Jetta in june. Its 1 yr old and these tyres were on it from new. They had done about 10,000 miles. In a word, they are garbage. You will easily loose traction in the dry, you will only eventually gain traction in the wet. These tyres have only two uses, either to create those squeeling sound effects in car chase movies, or chopped up as mulch in corporate flowerbeds. Dont put them on your car, they are scary."

Anonymous"Just added two new ones on the front of an Olds minivan for the upcoming winter season in Northwestern Michigan where we see plenty of snow. They performed well the last two winters. At 32,500 miles their life hasn't been the greatest. Noticed some loss of traction on wet roads recently. Have taken them on three trips to the West, Utah, Monatana and Colorado. Excellent quiet comfortable ride at 80mph+. At 46 years of age I have ridden a number of tires. I like these. "

Anonymous"Original equipment on 01 PT. I have a set of 15" and also a set of 16" on OEM chrome wheels. The 15" are horrible, the 16" are worse. Absolute garbage. Junk. Crap. Goodyear refuses to stand behind this tire. I will NEVER buy another Goodyear product.....are you listening Goodyear????"

BR"I had these on a used 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix GT as OEM. I have 48,000 miles on them and they are worn out. I expected more life from Goodyear Eagle LS but when I went to WalMart, alas, they reported the tire life is only supposed to be 35,000 miles. They are noisy, too! But I like the way they look. I will probably replace them with a different tire. "

Ronald Herringshaw"Dodge Neon Cars handling is actually terrible and on corners totally uncontrollable. Feels like the tires are comiing off the rims.Tires came with the new car and if it is possible Id like a refund to buy a better goodyear tire. Tires should be taken off the market before someone gets killed!"

Pat Esposito"2003 Nisson Murano It is scary to read these reviews on the tires I unfortunately have on my car. However I believe all the bad reviews. I just tried to pull into my drive with about 6" of snow (thanks to the great northeast)and got stuck doing it. O'yeah sorry I forgot to mention the driveway has a slight incline(ever so slight) unsatisfied already."
