"some say this is a great tire, i disagree. I love the look of this tire and it handles about equally to the bfg offroad, but the treadwear and handling compared to the bfg on-road is horrible. I had a pair of BFG M/T KM's and now the Goodyears on the same truck(99F250). I got 47k out of my BFG's and I already have 30k on the Goodyears and about 10% tread left, and my habits have been the same about 30% offroad and 70% on, and rotate every 5k. Not worth the money. Hard facts don't lie! Still think they are the best looking tire though. "

"'96 Toyota Landcruiser and '91 Land Rover Range Rover: These tires are great for off roading. On road noise is very noticeable, can be annoying if you want a quiet ride. If you want quieter tires, go for the BFG MT/KMs. Siping them is a good idea for snow and rock crawling. Strong sidewall, meaning stiffer ride. When aired down to 10 psi, the bulge (spell?) isn't as much as on a C rated sidewall for example. Mud is not an issue for these tires. "

"Awesome tires. I have 33" MT/R's on my TJ with 3.5" or lift and love them way better than the BFG M/T tires I used to have. Better on rocks, little if any slip... Way better in the rain than BFG M/T's, and way quieter. Definately a nice set of rubbers."

"1997 GMC 2wd Truck - When we went to go look for a set of new tires we were looking for a mud tire that was better the our previous BFG AT's so we came across the Goodyear Mt/r's and so far we have been really impressed with the almost no noise and the smooth ride it provides i'm still not sure about treadwear though because our old at's lasted for ever and hope these do not wear as quick but so far a good tire!!!"

"90 K5 Blazer - I'm running 37x12.5x17" MT/R's. They are one of the best all around tires I have found. They work great both on and off road."

"1999 Dodge 1500. Never been stuck in mud a once with these tires. Great on road tires too, with some great handling. No problems with wear either."

"I've had them on the truck for about 10K now, and they are okay. They are smallish for their size (check out actual diameter vs. advertised) They require a little TLC on air pressure, and re-balancing with age - but nothing unusual. I've wheeled in regular dirt/rock conditions and sand, and they do okay. As a tire designed to be in-between a Mud-Terrain, and an All-Terrain, I think they do well. They certainly look very nice."

"1998 chevy z71 with destination mt - these tires really suck and are really over priced my firestone destination m/ts are alot better they have a more aggressive tread pattern and are alot better in all conditions that these"

"Quit comparing the MTR to the Goodyear AT, they are different classes of tires. I'm not a big fan of these at all. I'm going back to me BFG MT's after I wear these down enough to justify putting them on the hunting vehicle. I'm curious about the new Bridgeston Destination MT...it looks similar to the BFG."
