"'02 BMW 325i - 225/45 R17 - I was scared to face the Chicago winter with my recently bought RWD bimmer. I replaced the existing Goodrich g-Sport tires with a set of 4 Hankooks.... and, I have to say that so far they have done a great job. I already feel so much confident after driving thru a couple of snow days. I think snow tires + traction control is a necessity for RWDs. Good value for $91/tire."

"2000 Acura 1.6EL - 195-55-15 - Just replaced a set of Michelin Arctic Alpins with the W300. Great in slushy wet conditions. Good in deep snow... a little less traction in wet snow. So far a good tire for the money. Typical winter tire performance in dry conditions... to be expected no matter what brand you buy at this price point. Overall this tire does its job."

"Tires are average in the snow. My all-seasons have about the same traction. They do not grip well as the tread pattern seems too sporty. It looks like a touring all-season tire. There is quite a bit of tire noise on dry roads. Asymmetrical tread design effects hard/fast turning into corners. Poor design, probably to save money. Reminds me of the Yokohama Paradas, but a winter version. Wanted to buy Michelin X-Ice instead, but more expensive. Should've spent the extra money for a real snow tire. "

"Mazdaspeed6 - 225/45/17 - Good in up to about 6" deep snow, both slushy & compact. OK in wet. Floaty at high speed, loud on dry pavement. Handling in the dry is predicable, but drifts easily."

"2004 Maxima SE - 245/45/18 - The Best V rated winter tires for the money! Used to run Toyo's, used to that is. These tires ride like an all season, quiet, good handling for a winter tire. Very impressed how they handle and stop on ice. Western Canadian winters offer lots of variety which can be challenging for any tire. I highly recommend these tires! "

"2003 Mazda Protege 5 - 195 50 R16 - The W300 is an awesome tire for the snow, or just about anything else you can throw at it. I travel to Vermont to ski every year and I have had my share of driving in deep snow and on icy roads. This tire is great in any condition. I plan on using this tire as an all season. I have also been impressed with the performance on muddy trails through the woods. Great price, great tire."

"2003 Saab 9-3 Vector - 225/45R17 - These tires are a fantastic combination of winter needs and dry road. I live in New England, and although there are better snows out there, for the days when the roads were dry I was glad I had these. They ride quiet, handle excellent, and are the best value for the money. Will definately purchase again> treadlife is also excellent. "

"Nissan Maxima '00 - 215/55/16 - I bought four of tires a month ago and I was really nervous since I haven’t heard about Hankook before. I had the chance to ride them in deep snow, some slush and no too ice roads and I loved it. The tires handled very well and provide great traction. I’ve read some review before I’ve got them that they don’t corner very well, but I would tend to disagree. They corner better then my all season Sumitomo HTR H4 tires. Given I don’t usually over pay for tires I am pretty happy with those. Are there better tires out there, probably, but if you want to save a buck and still get performance and stability I would strongly recommend. "

"2004 Grand Am GT - 205/55 R16 - These Icebears are better than some Summer Tires I have owned. They stick well in Rain, Snow, and Dry. Sidewall isn't good for hard cornering but that's to expect from a Winter Tire. Great buy!"

"BMW 325 (2006) - 16 - I put on my winter tires last week of OCT, since then in the Bavaria area (Parsberg, Veilburg) area we had 1 snow fall, the tires perform fine, also drove 250+KM and the noise comfort was fine, ride comfort on the autobahn was normal especially during a night rain fall handling was great, I would recommend the tires, the price was not bad and overall performance has met my expectations."

"2006 AUDI A4 2.0T Quattro S-Line - 18 - '06 Audi A4 2.0T Quattro S-Line (6 Speed). I live in Denver and we just got 3-4 ft of snow dumped on us in the past 10 days. I was pretty much stranded at my house with my Z rated tires. I decided to go ahead and get a dedicated set of the Icebears for my ride. These weren't my tire of choice (I wanted the Dunlap 3D's) but it was the only thing I could get my hands on in an 18" tire with such short notice and I couldn't argue with the price - under $900 out the door. This tire in conjunction with the Quattro AWD has been incredible! I can go anywhere as long as I keep my car from high centering. I'd consider myself a spirited to aggressive driver in the summer but I will say I am fairly conservative in adverse winter driving conditions.. however I have to admit, that these tires have changed that.. I'm very impressed with the way they accelerate, stop, and corner. Winter driving will never be the same."
