"2003 Honda Accord - 225/45/17 - The wet weather traction appears to handle confidently, but it will be a long while before I try carving corners in the rain like I was able to do with my previous 2000 Jetta with P6000 summers tires. This brings up an excellent point people have to understand, different types of cars (suspension/weight) contribute significantly to handling characteristics. Another interesting and crucial point although my old tire wore evenly I did opt to have my car realigned the next day after install. The handling before and after alignment was like night and day, so much more improved! The first day driving home the car felt very mushy and handling was unresponsive, I was concerned, but after realignment I have the tight sports car handling again!"

"2003 Honda Accord - 225/45/17 - Giant debris in the middle of the highway during a lane change, caught of guard, and having to over correct with steering in order to swerve out of the way, honestly it was a close call loosing control and spinning out, however if you know how to handle a car, as I did, I was able to keep control. If the road was wet I would NOT have attempted such an extreme maneuver and would have had to just take the impact and hope for the best. Note that although I may have had even better handling from the likes of Yoko's, Pirelli's, or Michelin's. But in that particular situation no tire would have helped in the wet. I feel that I made good tire purchase for the price, and that after that experience I believe that I have a sound tire that I can trust and have confidence in."

"2003 Honda Accord - 225/45/17 - Going from an excellent but very expensive tire such as the Michelin MXHX Pilot's, the next suitable like performance and cheaper replacement I normally pick a Pirelli P6 and higher series. I was looking for something even cheaper without killing myself. I was tempted to try some attractively priced Yoko's ES100's. Still want to press my luck for something more cheaper I was considering Kumho 712's ($83 plus shipping) but then I spotted these Ventus K104 (a little more expensive but available locally no shipping needed, $100 a tire). I also strongly considered the new HRII's.Now I am extremely critical of handling so you can trust my word. The next weekend after installing these tires, going on a road trip, I had to perform an extreme emergency maneuver at 70+ mph on the highway."

"VW Golf TDI 130Hp - 225/45R17 - A very good Tire for dry tarmac. Takes a bit to warm-up but then, fantastic grip. Normal tires in wet. For the ones who said that the side walls are bad, a couple of words for you: Get a new suspension!"

"Mazda 3 - 205/59 17 - Replaced the original Goodyear eagles with the Hankooks. Although the tires are loud they ride better than the Goodyear’s. They also feel lighter but you still get plenty of feedback from the road. The traction on wet and dry are fine in my opinion. As far as these tires having week sidewalls, I was driving down a two lane and hit a rather large pothole doing about 40. No problem. These tires seem to have great value to me."

"2001 pontiac t/a ws6 - unsure - This tire sucks in the Wet! Once it slides, there's no stopping them. Took a T/A for a test drive today and ended up in a sign which punched out the passenger window. Managed to walk away with very minor cuts and scrapes from the glass flying everywhere, but I think these tires are overrated in the wet. If you have a performance car and are considering these tires, someone should take your license away for not spending the additional $ on real, performance tires. Wouldn't recommend them for anyone who cares about safety and drives when it rains. Can't say how they perform in the dry, cause I'm obviously NOT buying the car not that it's not perfect. "
