"Mazda Protege 5 (2003) - I wasn't a believer in snow tires until today. I thought all seasons (Dunlops) would be just fine in snow conditions, but was I ever wrong! These are the BEST snow tires I have ever used. It grips to snow and ice like glue. You can even stop on a dime in compact snow. No complaints at all, worth every penny! I would recommend this tire to everyone. Can't comment on tread wear since I've only had it for the last hour. "

"2002 Jetta GLS TDI - 195/65 R15 91T - My car came equipped with Michelin Energy MXV4 all-seasons and they were useless in the snow. I was sliding all over the place. The Pirelli Snowsports made a huge difference. I've had them for 2 seasons now and they're great. It feels like that car will go anywhere now. The best part is passing SUVs in a snowstorm. Don't let anyone tell you all-seasons are good enough. The initial investment is bigger, having to buy 2 sets of tires (winter and summer), but it works out to the same price in the long run, since they'll last twice as long."

"BMW 528iT - 225/55/15 - This car MUST have snows for winter in Canada. I bought these when Firestone stopped making the Winterfire (amazing tire) and have not been disappointed. Great snow tire! After a full season, they still look new."

"BMW 745i - 245/50R18 - I put tires on my '02 745i BMW 325hp rear wheel drive car. Had a lot of trouble balancing the tires (set of 4 tires and rims) but, once done it has been very good. Great in snow and wet conditions and good on ice. Very quite at highway speeds (120-150kph.) All around great winter tire! NOTE: The guys at the Tire Rack are the BEST! Great service, fast shpping and the best prices anywhere! GREAT job guys!"

"Subaru Forester S-turbo - 215 / 60 R 16 - I've been using these for since mid November in all sorts of condition, from dry motorways (interstate) to small mountain roads in 2ft of fresh snow with ice base, never worried myself once... very predictable and wouldn't hesitate to buy them again."

"Audi Avant A6 - 205/55/16 - Amazing level of traction in wet conditions given that the car is a diesel so all the torque is low down. Snow performance is great while the tyre is new and grips well up and down the hill under breaking. Get below 5mm though and then fight through ploughed/packed snow and its not so good. However these are good if you need to drive a significant distance to and from the resort as the road noise is minimal. Top tyre and will buy again!"

"2000 Audi S4 - 225-45-HR17 - 2006 Nov 2 yr.2000 Audi S4 225-45-HR17 Part 1 Living in Calgary Alberta Canada we get ice/snow/cold 7 months a year. With high speed winter tires this good why bother spending the time and money to put on summer tires for a few months. I drove these Pirelli SnowSport 210's all 12 months this year. They have always been fantasitc in the snow and on icey/hard packed snow. With the all wheel drive of an Audi s4 the car is virtually unstoppable in the winter. Given all the void space and high density siping the Pirelli 210 is also an excellent tire on wet roads. You can drive through deep puddles at high speeds with confidence. My previous summer tires ( Michelin SX MXX3 ) were dangerous through deep water. Claus Kellermann"

"2002 Nissan Sentra SER Spec V - 195/55/R15 - Great tire for the winter season. Drove with them on snow, slush and ice.... good traction in all conditions. Would highly recommend them to any body who would drive in snow. Good handling DRY or WET... definately will buy again! "

"C32 AMG - 225-45-17 - My car is rear wheel drive and makes some power, I have had these for 3 seasons. The snow performance is great. They are good on ice and snow. As long as you take it easy on the throttle the car will get going. But the great thing about these tires are they can stopping power on ice and snow. Expensive but worth it."
