Toyo Tires Toyo 800 Ultra
Toyo 800 Ultra Review

Chuck"Toyota Rav4 - I did a lot of reasearch in choosing tires for my Rav4 in the size I wanted(235/60R16) and the Toyo's seemed to be the best choice. I've had them for a year now and have driven in all conditions. I chose them for ride comfort/quality and they did not disapoint. However they are not great on ice compared to a winter radial and should not be considered for aggressive drivers as their cushy ride characteristics take away from their performance. Excellent touring tire though."

Road noise is currently better than the factory tires, but I expect the Toyos to get louder as they wear. So far the tire is handling very poorly in the snow that Ontario recieved just before Christmas - far worse than the unevenly worn factory tires that they replaced. Wouldn't recommend these tires to anyone that owns a Taurus and needs to drive in winter weather conditions. Otherwise, the tires are pretty decent, especially if they last as long as advertised."

Julie"Honda CRV - Worst set of tires as far as reliability that I have owned. I went 9 years with no flats then I got these tires and I've managed to blow out all four, sometimes twice. Sometimes the flats are fixable, sometimes I have to replace the tire, thank goodness for warranties. Will NOT purchase again. "

Vince S."2002 Toyota Tacoma - 225-75-15 - Same experience as Steve Tolbert. 800 Ultras are 3 years old, 39000 miles and I'm down to the wear bands, no tread left, on a 2002 Toyota Tacoma. Tires were ok when new but even then they tracked in grooves on freeway. Toyo customer service is terrible to non-existent. I don't intend to turn them back to Toyo, I'll just throw them away."

MIKEY"1991 Dodge Dyansty - 205/65r15 - Awsome tires, best tire, better than michilins, tops all tire manufactures, there isn't a better tire out here, if you have the money buy these tires, yes they are a little hard, but the traction is unreal, those of you who have traction issues, CHECK YOUR TIRE PRESSURES!!, you more than likely have them over inflated!!!"

Canuk 1"Volvo 850 - 195/60/R15 - I purchased these tires after reading some great reviews. Purchased during the summer. Initially, I was very impressed -- great traction, smooth and quiet. In winter, under certain wet conditions, I found snow would adhere / stick to the tire causing a very bumpy ride. Snow would stay adhered to the tires even after an hour or two, and even when reaching speeds of 40 mph / 70 kph -- travelling above this speed was impossible -- way to rough of a ride. The other disappointment was that the tire is rated at 160,000 km, but with less than 100,000, I need new tires. Also, as wear increased, tire noise got a lot louder, and it became much easier to hydroplane."
