"95 civic hatch - 195/50 15 - I got a 11 psi jrsc setup in my car and these tires are tons better than the previous FZ4 that I had on dry pavement. On wet, there is no beating them either as I took them up to 80 without a hint of hydroplaning. I hit large puddles going fifty and the damn car stood its ground. Not like with the FZ4 that had me fearing for my life whenever it rained. I couldn't even go above 45-50 with those. Sidewalls are a little softer than the FZ4 but they also take bumps alot softer than the FZ4. Its definitely your best bang for the buck for an all season tire. "

"2000 BMW 528i - 225/55R16 - This is the worst set of four tires I ever bought in my life. I do not understand where are all good reviews came from, TOYO???. I had it for 10 months with 8K miles, the rear tires already worn out to the replacement bar indicator."

"2003 Mazda Protege5 - 205/45R16 - Driven about 15K miles on these tires. No regrets! But room for improvement.. The good: excellent grip and hydroplane resistance! The stock Dunlops (SP5000M 195/50R16), were unsafe above 45mph in rain. After some fairly heavy rainfall this past winter, I can say these were, literally, a life saver. They're also quieter and ride better than stock. The car feels more "grown up", less twitchy -- the result of a softer sidewall, which takes me to.. The bad: Handling is not as aggressive or accurate as stock Dunlops. Initial steering input is ‘soggy’, and bigger steering inputs are needed in general. There’s a slight tendency to wander or follow road irregularities at freeway speed. That said, after driving on them for a few K miles, I no longer notice the wandering but still very much enjoy the smoother, quieter ride and higher ultimate grip that has me grinning through the twisties. If treadwear holds up, I'll be buying these again."

03 VW GTI 20th AE

"VW GTI - 225/40/18 - Had these for 8000 miles. They're great in dry, and good enough in the rain. It seems that they're get more grip in heavy rain. In light rain, they are a little slick, but all in all I will buy these again. Far better than michelin pilot sports all, also better than the contiextreme contacts from continental. Treadwear seems to be coming along better than previous tires and they're as good as any for the weekend racer."

"Mazda rx8 - 225/45/18 - These are some of the best tires I've ever driven on. Great grip both under wet and dry condition. They handle corners really well and have great grip wil acceleration/decceleration. I Haven't tried them in the snow yet, but they were solid in heavy frost. Treadwear is above average, but could be better. Very quiet tire, a little more noise after 15,000 kms but still really good. I would highly recommend!"

"Toyota Supra - 225/50 16 - The tire is misleading as a all season tire since it is horrible when the snow hits the ground. But if you plan on using it for the summer only, then it will serve you well."

"Mazda Protege ES - 195/50-16 - THESE TIRES TURNED MY CAR INTO A BUICK! I took advantage of Toyo's return policy, and send these back after two weeks. These tires had no grip in the wet or the dry; turn-in was really slow; the sidewalls were so soft (these were 50-series!) that weight transfer further deteriorated traction when starting, stopping, and turning: there were only 55,000km on my car, so I don't think the problems were due to worn shocks, or springs). Yes, the ride was nice and soft, and supermarket speed bumps and manholecovers were no longer anything to avoid."

"Maxima 2001 - Toyo changed my TPTs after 4000 Km because of manufacture error on all 4... they gave me a complete set of Proxes 4... love them !! They're a little smoother than the TPTs but not too much. Great on dry and wet pavement. Also love the looks ! A great buy !"
