"1998 BMW Z3 2.8 - 225/45-17 front 245/45-17 rear - I replaced the original Michln.Pilots with Proxes 4's; first the rear, and later the front. I just replaced the rear again, this time with 235/45-17 Proxes 4's. They are great tires, but you need to set the tire pressure for your particular car. Some of these reviewers who didn't think they handled well probably needed to up the tire pressure from what the car manufactorer specs. I've messed with the air pressure and it makes a world of difference. The tires are great tires; the mileage is also very good. I did pick up a few nails, but I live in a city that is building houses like crazy, so that may have nothing to do with the tires. If you don't get at least 20,000 miles on these tires you either have the air pressure wrong or you're right foot needs to go on a diet."

"1995 240SX - 205-55-16 - I've owned my Proxes 4's for 2 months/5000KM. So far these tires have lived up to expectations. Great wet and dry adhesion and excellent cornering ability. My last set of tires (Potenza RE730) were also very good in these categories, however, they were extremely noisy in comparison. I have not owned these tires long enough evaluate treadwear. These tires could command a slightly higher price and still be a bargain. Highly recommended."

"'05 Acura TL A-spec - 235/40/18 - Great tire. Replaced Hankook Ventus with the Proxes4. Handling is great even at 240km/hr, nice and straight. Wicked in the rain which was very important to me here in Nova Scotia. A little louder than the Ventus. These tires will never see snow so no comment there. Money very well spent. I recommend filling them with nitrogen, its softens the bumps and ride, and pressure always stays constant."

"Had this tire for two summer seasons so far. Love these tires. It does have limits. Based on my tread where I plan to use this tire for another full season and I drive alot. (about 15,000 miles/ season). Handles like a dream (for four season tires). Would buy them again, when the time comes. I am a Toyo FAN. I use Toyo winter tires for the winter, live in the boston area. "

"95 Acura Legend LS 6spd TCS - Better than Mich. Pilots in every respect, wet, dry, wear, noise, comfort. With an ADDCO rear Bar, Secret Weapon intake, a Koni Sport kit, and the P4s the car is now a PERFORMANCE luxury car. Will put these on my 2003 NSX for 3 season driving in NH. Excellent 3 season tire."

"04 Subaru STi - 225/45/17 - Good overall tire. Squeal when pushed around corners. I miss the overall stickyness of the OEM Bridgestones....but I don't worry as much when it rains. WAY quieter than OEM Bridgestones!!! I'm thinking of purchasing either Toyo Proxes T1R's or Falken AZENIS RT-615. Any suggestions???"
