"1996 Nissan Maxima SE - Wow, what a difference from Bridgestone Eagers they replaced. Very quiet on the road, and they handle much better in both dry and wet conditions. Great tire for the price!"

"Nissan Altima 2002 - 225/40R18 - very good tires was very suprised of performance in wet conditions. Dry traction is also amazing the only thing is with controls thats a bit hazardous especially on montreal put hole roads."

"2003 Toyota Matrix XRS - 215 55 17 - Replaced my original Firestone Firehawks with these babies, and was I amazed!!!! Dry Grip is as good as the Firestones, Wet traction is far better. Snow traction is a no contest since the Firehawks are a pure summer tire. Handling suffered somewhat compared to the Firehawks only because of the softer sidewall, BUT, improved on ride comfort. A lot less noisier, and awesome 700 rating tread wear rating. A must on the Recommended list."

"2003 volvo s60 2.4T - 235/45x17 - Initially a very good riding and handling tire. After 10,000 miles have become very very loud but handle ok. I do not recommend."

"Honda Accord - 205 65R 15 - If you want better cornering go to a V- rated. Winter conditions in certain parts of Canada require a dedicated winter tire as this tire just doesn't have the grip, I tell you from experiencing winter in Barrie Ontario.** Seems there could be a manufacturing problem as I have cracking after only 1 yr of driving,usually not seen till around 4 yrs. Ask others before buying!"

"'93 Honda Prelude SR-V - 205/55/15 - Amazing grip/handling on dry/wet. Absolutely CRAP in the snow/ice. Treadwear rating is misleading, I previously had the AVID H4 on my car for two years, while these are pretty much toast after ONE year, and these are suppose to last longer (I don't smoke the tires, this is normal driving)."

"2002 Mitsubishi Mirage - 195/60/14 - These tires are like night/day compared to the stock Yoko's on the Mirage. Handling is amazing on Dry/Wet. 70MPH through heavy rain was nothing, before I would hydro plane very easily. There not horrible on snow as long as you don't drive too hard, much easier to correct though if you lose traction. I'm in MN, great all season tires!"

"1999 Camry XLE v6 - 205/65-15 - The Avid H4S is exactly what I was looking for my v6 Camry. I wanted a sporty feel, with excellent traction and it delivered! I've been on them for 11,000 miles so far and tread wear is great. Quick response and great road feel. Did well through standing highway water. Snow performance is the only point at which I give average marks, but I switch to snow tires in the winter. The Avid H4S has summer road grip that made me smile as I drove around windy New England roads to test the tire right after having them mounted. I'll buy them again. I hope Yokohama doesn't change or discontinue them."
