"I've been running these for about 20,000mi They got me through the winter better than any other tire I have had on my car. There are better snow tires that I will use this winter but for the money I think they are great. I even used them when I first started Autoxing. They break loose on hard cornering but its not like their an R compound racing tire. I think they are quite smooth and ride quiet. "

"on a dodge avenger 97. A large car with medium performance. After a year (as a summer tire only), these tires are not as good as they were. With less than 15000 k, there are so slippery on wet pavement, it's scarry. I would recommend H4 with no hesitation... Dangerous tires for medium performance cars!"

"1997 Saturn SL1. Third set of tires after OEM Firestone FR680 (100,000km), Michelin RainForce MX4 (36,000) and these dies of sidewall wear (there was not much tread left either but I hadn't hit the wear bars) after 17,000km. Yep, 17,000km, not even one season. Off course my driving style has changed since the OEM Firestone but not much since the Michelins. I rate this tire very poorly, not only in wear but also in handling. They have a better speed rating than the old Michelins but feel more like a winter tire. My spirits took a dive the first time I drove on the Avid T4 because of this balooney feel. Only thing better than the Michelin: traction, but not by leaps and bounds. Oh yeah, one last thing, yet traction is good for the first half of the thread, after that, it's for fearless drivers. Because it was advertisez to me as a tire for drving enthusiasts and a T rated tire, I have to give "Poor" ratigns to handling and wear. Would never buy again."

"2000 Malibu used in Atlanta rush hour traffic. My first set of T4's lasted 45K miles with few rotations. Very quiet, handles well, very good int the rain compared with the original Firestone Affinity tires. I suggest anyone reading a review compare like cars (front or rear drive, weight, horsepower, etc.) to get a good comparison for their purchase. Not all tires work well on all vehicles."

"Mazda Protege 195/55R15 Got these tires to replace my Bridgestone RE92`s. I would have liked to get a new set of 92`s but for the price I got the Avid TA`s I couldn`t justify the cost. I haven`t had the TA`s to long, but so far so good. My only complaint is that they feel just a little on the soft. Even with 33psi they look like they are under inflated. "

"01 Civic Si I got less than 80K out of my Avid T4's. The only major complaint I have with them is their extremely poor wet traction. There are far better tires for the $$."

"Had them one summer on my 2000 Saturn L100 manual transmission somewhat modified. Compared to the Firestone Z50's I had for previous 2 summers I would say they perform as good or better, and will probably wear out the same at about 40,000k. The wear out is because of my driving habits but at less than half the price the Yoko's well worth it. PS, and I'm over 50 and still think I'm driving my 70 cuda."

"Mitsubishi EclipseGT - Much better performance than the stock Goodyear RSA's. They did great in the snow this winter and have worn well. The only negitive is the softer sidewall than the stock RSA's."
