"98 Contour SE Sport - Was everything I expected for a $47 tire....and then some. Does what it's supposed to do and does it well. Remember, this is a TOURING tire not High Performance and my ratings are based as such."

"1994 Ford Escort Wagon - I was quite satisfied until after about 20-30000 miles, all four tires (not simultaneously, but over a period of several months) developed belt separation. Dealer replaced all four, which have been OK since, but I will try something else next time! Pros: modest price; quietest tires I've ever owned; satisfactory dry/wet handling (but I don't push them). Cons (aside from the severe defect mentioned above): For a tire claiming to be all-season, not especially good in snow; not especially long-wearing for a tire claiming good treadwear (and as I said, I'm easy on them); above-average tendency to tramline (follow grooves in road rather than where I'm steering)."

"2002 monte carlo - Had Goodyear Eagles on both my Monte Carlo and a 1991 Lumina Euro. I switched brands on the Lumina when the tires on it wore out and I was AMAZED at how superior the Yoko's were in all conditions. I just purchased them for my Monte today. While at the store another customer came in w/info he'd garnered off the net, and both the manager and myself recommended the yoko's....he walked out with 4 of his own, and threw the info in the trash!"

"1992 Lexus ES 300 - The tire came with my Lexus. Never had a tire that was so smooth and quiet. Tread is almost worn down to the wear bars and the performance is still very good. Dought they will be any good this winter though. I've already priced out 4 new Avid's."

"96 Ford Windstar cargo van - After about 4,000 varied city/highway miles remain extremely happy with them. Handling & traction (dry & wet) are both excellent (it is difficult to get them to squeal, even under heavy acceleration or turning), and they are smooth and quiet -- a huge improvement over the Goodyears that were on the vehicle when we acquired it. Wear so far is imperceptible. I have not had a chance yet to try them in the snow, but based on their wet performance and tread pattern, and the fact that I got through the last Montana winter pretty well on front tires that were almost bald, I expect them to excel here as well."

"2002 Forester - Tires ok in snow and rain. Treadwear wore out at 48,000. So much for the 80,000 warrenty and YES, all you know-it-alls, the tires had the best care anyone could give. Noise increased with treadwear. I will not buy them again. Big let-down"

"1998 Buick Riviera - "Great reviews" had prompted me to purchase these tires, but poor long term performance prompted me to remove these tires after 30k miles. A total of 7 tires from warranty, big problems with out of round and 2 with belt separation. Nothing I could do to get the shake out of the tires between 65-75 mph. Replaced them long before the 80,000 "warranty" with Goodyear Regatta II's. The car is as smooth as glass now. Very disappointed in the Yokohama. Can't consider another Yokohama purchase."

"Mercury Sable 2002 - Had these tires on previous business vehicle Taurus and traded before I could wear them out, about 60K and still looked like another comfortable 20K left. Not a performance or wet/snowy condition tire. Want performance? Get a set of Bridgestone Potenza RE950's."

"1999 Pontiac Transport - Spun on wet surfaces from the first day I put them on, lousy on any snow surface. Almost had an accident bacuase of them spinning in the rain on a turn with traffic coming toward me. Almost took them back but endured two years, and now one has gone out of round and needs replacement, and treads wearing on all 4 as well after only 30,000 miles. Never again with Yokohama. Stick with Pirelli or Michelin. Even the stock Firestones were better on the van !"

"93 Nissan 240sx - Great all around tires. I used these tires for daily driving, going over the mountain pass, and drifting. Seen minimal tread wear. Awesome tires."
