"Mazdaspeed protégé 2003 - Très bon pneus, ça colle à la route, surtout sur les routes dégagées. Moins bonnes traction sur surface enneigée ou glacée. Excellent compromis entre tenue de route à haute vitesse sur pavé sec et traction sur surface enneigée ou glacée."

"Honda Civic Si (Ex) - 185/60/14 - Had to try these because they claim to be designed for the European and Canadian markets and are the best of both worlds. Well, something had to give. And in this case, it's the winter traction that comes up a little short. The only other performance snow tires that I have used before was the Pirelli Winter190. They were excellent in both dry pavement and snow, but wore out really quickly. That is the reason I decided to try something new. The AVS Winters work well in wet and slushy conditions and are great for the stretches in between snow storms when the roads are clear but barely gets by in more than 3" of snow or hard packed Icy/slush roads (the Winter190s had no problems with similar conditions). I love Yokohama (I run the Parada Spec2 in the summers), but the AVS Winters are only marginally better than all-season tires in the snow and I will not buy another set when these wear out. Not recommended if you live in heavy snow areas."
