Ron"Accord ex-l 4 cyclinder - 205/60/16 - I've only had these tires for 3 weeks. We've had our first major snow fall in Toronto recently and the tires handled extremely well in stopping and off the lights. Fuel consumption and drag is noticeable when the tires are new - especially on the highway. The tire compound seems softer than what I have encountered in the past. The tires seem to have good 'wicking' ability even having been through deep snow. It's moderately priced and worth considering"

Michelle in the Laurentians, Quebec"Dodge SX 2.0 2003 - 18560r15 - I have never felt so UNSAFE in my life! During 2 winters, it was as if my car was almost always "floating" or hydroplaning on snow or slush even at 50-60 km./hr., making me feel as if I was going to go off the road after even the smallest snowfall. I thought there had to be a problem with my car, got it inspected and there was nothing else wrong. Very good on ice, but the worst tire I've ever had for all other winter conditions. Very disappointed, after having paid about $500.00 for them."

Frank......."Buick Regal LS front wheel drive - 225-60R16 - I Drove on icy covered roads when it was frezzing rain with no problems and stopping was no problem ether when the car in front of me spun out on the road and hit the ditch, i say they are good tires on the icy roads........ AND for the people that dont like these tires you know you have 30 days for a full credit refund for a different set of tires so you should use it ,instead of complaining"

Peter"Focus SE wagon - 195/65/15 - I've done about 5,00kms on my IG10's so far. They provide unbelievable stopping on ice or compact snow, I also went through snow about 18 inches deep last week and got good traction. However, my one complaint is that they have little directional stability. The car wanders across the highway, even in dry conditions. When you're overtaking a truck on compact snow it can get a bit scary!"

Toby"1985 nissan sentra - 13 inch rims - Before I begin, a word to FRank: This form is for people to share their thoughts. If its complaining to you, well I want to hear what they have to say. Its the only reason this forum exists so get a clue. Now onto the review. Yes these do rock on ice. Transformed my car into a snowmobile. As for snow its true, they are not very good but its because the lugs are too soft. On the flip side ive used michilen ICE tires and while they were amazing in snow, they were horrible on ice because they had stiffer lugs. There really is no true best of both worlds. Maybe studded tires? Ive never used them ."

John"Honda Accord - 185/70 13 - After testing two other brands, the Yokohama's proved to be the best, hands down..., by a very noticeable margin! In Colorado, whether in snow or on snow and ice, these went when other vehicles failed and became snowstorm fodder, witnessing many going off the road but we kept on going straight, confident and true. I cannot imagine a better tire."

Toby"2000 Honda Civic - 185-65-14 - I have driven it in very heavy slush, and some heavy wet snow and lots of standing water on freeway. These tires stick to the ground like glue, and much better than the blizzaks I had before. The only thing Ive noticed is they tend to not track as well as I would like. You tend to get pushed around pretty good. Blizzacks tracked better, but they just dont have the same traction. The only question I have is how well they work on black ice. I have tested some ice in very small patches and again sticks like glue. I was very happy with the lack of road noise. They are a bit louder than blizzaks, but being they in my opinion have much better traction as well as tread durability I will give up a bit of quiet. Dry handling seems fine. They are a tad spongy compared to my radials, but not anything to worry about and not nearly as severe as the blizzak. "
