I have had only two of these tires on the rear axle of my Jeep as I wait for the old tires on front to wear out. The tires on front are a performance rated snow tire and the AT 51's keep up with them just fine. I've had them for 2 Colorado winters and have been surprised at how well they grip in the snow, mud, and even some ice. They are quiet, confident and responsive on dry or wet pavement. They still look brand new too with very little noticeable treadwear or "chunking" out from rocks. A great all around AT tire that is also snow rated.
