These came 2 months old on a S10 ZR2 4x4 that I picked up as a daily/winter driver. They went through anything even though I put a pencil sized hole in the tread and just aired it up every once and a while. Got down to 5psi in the left front tire once and there was only minimal adverse wear on the tire after being driven FOR A WEEK on 5PSI!
Was I testing the tire? Yeah. Why? I'd had Wild Country tires and driven other tires with 'aggressive treads' but in a bet against a buddy of mine who had them on his YJ Wrangler we wanted to see how much of a beating they could really take (I had a full size spare). This tire had sidewalls made of adamantium. They would bulge but no slippage on the rim and no deformations on the walls. This was all with a leather plug shoved in the hole!
Would I buy these again? Yeah. For an S10? No. Anything lighter than a full size pickup and they'll hop and chirp and lose grip really quickly. Even on the YJ they were having issues on dry pavement. But if you put it on gravel or anything but severe mud the tire would take it. These tires need more than a 3000lb truck with a forward weight bias on them to really grip.
