 Cooper DISCOVERER M-S

This truck was our hardware store delivery truck for the first 17 years of it's life and was used VERY little. The last 3 years it has been my daily driver to my storage facility. First winter I bought these Cooper tires and have been nothing but pleased with them. We have had gentle winters here in Lincoln, NE recently, but throw a couple sand bags in the bed and even with 2WD, it handles 8" of snow (the max we have had here) and ice with zero problems. When new tread depth was 15-16/32 and with probably 7K-8K miles on mainly dry pavement, including 1 3K trip, there is 11-12/32 remaining. With so many new Jeeps, Subies and other "family" AWD SUVs coming equipped with girly all-season tires these days, I leave many of them behind when accelerating.

 Cooper COBRA RADIAL G-T

Had these tires installed 5 months ago (May '15) with an alignment done. 7000 miles since (including a 3000 trip) and wear on the fronts seems excessive. They have lost 1/3 of their tread depth! Always run them at 30-31 psi checked each week. I will give them praise for being quiet, comfortable and good in rain even at highway speed. But I will be very lucky to get half of the 50K miles Cooper claims before it will be time to replace them. Have not driven them in snow so I can not evaluate.
