I've had these tires for ten months now. I drive a 4x4 2000 Merc Ml320, i also have a three inch lift. I drive it to the mouintains, lake, river, and pretty much anywhere in between. For my non adventuring days the tires have an almost nonexistent sound. I can be at 60mph and brake to 10mph in mear seconds (remember my "light truck" is about 6000lbs). They have amazing traction in the rain, i even tried to hydroplain in a parking lot with 2" of water. Due to my driving the tire tred is a little lower than it should be..but if you drive normally you'll be fine. You can feel the tred of the tires so its not the most comfort available. Its great for a teenager because we smack into crubs (i hit a curb going 55mph and no damage at all!).
Absulutly perfect for trails if you are in the mouintains or finding a good spot in the river to kayak (or cross..just dont drive in anything deeper than your tires diameter).
I off roading in my rig, the tires have outstanding traction on dirt hill climbs, but seem a little scary when going over rocks. I wouldn't recommend these for "mudding tires" but after a little bit of tire spin the latitudes will get a grip and you'll be out.
For snow they could be better. I live in Ga so our snow is pretty much ice underneath. They are good for light snow 1-4". I did take her up north in 12" snow and i didnt have as much traction as i would have liked, i would recommend snow chains.
Overall they are a greag set of tires you wont have to worry about!
