These tires were original equipment on my 03 Corvette. They were noisy, rode hard as a rock and had marginal traction in wet and dry. At 8000 miles the rear tires were worn to the wear bars and I replaced them with non-runflats. I immediately noticed that the new tires were much quieter and handled better in dry and wet conditions. Each of the subsequent tires I have replaced, Toyo and Goodyear GS-D3 are much superior. I kept them for use on track day, as the Corvette Forum entries had indicated they were pretty good when hot on the track. On a 60 degree day, I couldn't get them warm enough to get any grip. They were horrible handling! I am glad to see that Corvette offers Michelin tires on their new cars. They will be my next purchase.
