I just got my Civic off my sisters boyfriend this summer , it came with some off brand winter tires that i was not sure about using since they were a brand i never heard of and they were 10 years , i didn't feel like buying new tires even when i saw these tires at my local car part store for 55$ a tire . At first i saw them and was thinking it was a awesome price but i didn't want 4 seasons . I went home and did some research on them as you are most likely doing now , there wasn't much online but i said screw it i want the piece of mind of having new winter tires that will perform . And boy do these perform , i installed them myself since i was working at Canadian tire at the time they balanced well and looked nice . After putting them on i noticed that they the whole car had more driver feedback than my new summer tires ... They perform better than my summer tires in the dry and much better in the rain than my summer kumho (cant remember model kr26 or something) . Noise comparison i can barely hear a difference these are extremely quiet for winter tires . I have been driving with these tires in the the snow/ice for a bit now and i have to say they perform very well , still cant believe these are all season tires . They perform on ice and snow just like any other good winter tire would . Extremely impressed with them would definitely recommend them ! Trust me get them you wont be disappointed with these tires, i live in quebec where they dont like doing their jobs of cleaning streets and have not had a problem with sliding or not being able to stop i am constantly slamming the brakes to see well they do and they haven't disappointed even the past few days that it has been -24C

It makes so much noise, even while I am driving in the city. So it's much worse on the highway. It's so much noisier than my winter tires General altimax arctic. Kinda disappointed for what Japanese brand tire. I have never tried running that on snow, so i put rating 1 out of 5.
