 Nexen Winspike

Excellent value tire. Had them mounted after running the previous winter on "no-season" tires and the difference is night and day! I decided against having them studded mainly out of laziness but I do not regret it one bit. These little Nexens grip and bite through the snow and ice just like any big name tire. The only drawback I can mention is the slight road noise (I'm sure this is also exaggerated when studded, but that's to be expected). I'm expecting these tires to last me through several more seasons without any worry!

 Falken Ziex ZE950 AS

Overall a pretty good tire in my opinion. Better than the Kumho Ecsta KU25 I've had before, grip on dry streets is very good and even in wet weather they're still pretty good. Noise level seems no louder than other tires. I can't comment on the snow capabilities yet. Falken guarantees somewhere around 65000 miles of tread life.
