These were the original tires that came with my Lexus. At first I was disappointed in the vehicle, thinking it was letting all this road noise in and the ride wasn't as smooth as I thought it should be. It turns out it was the tires! I purchased a set of Firestone Destination LE2s, and the difference is night and day! These tires are so loud that I replaced them at 50,000 miles instead of waiting for them to reach 65,000.
Decent handling on wet and snowy roads
Extremely loud tires - the loudest tires I have ever owned
Average treadwear - but could not wait to replace them
I replaced the Michelin tires on my 2007 Lexus RX350 with Goodyear Assurance Fuel Max. My disappointment started when I was driving home from the Goodyear dealer, the tires make a lot of noise and the ride was much stiffer. I paid a considerable amount of money for these tires and I have tried to adjust to them. I CAN NOT drive over 65 MPH without the steering wheel vibrating and vibrating so much that I generally just slow to 60. I would never purchase any Goodyear tires again, I really dislike these tires.
