 Bridgestone Ecopia EP422

I got 46K miles on my last set of EP422's. I like to drive with some spirit so I am sure you could get much better mileage than I did. My tires were the V speed grade and I think this helped the mileage because a prior set of H rated Ecopia tires only lasted for 38K miles. Never tried these tires in snow but i they initially handled well in wet conditions.

 Pirelli Winter Carving Edge

Was not impressed with this tire. Tire was very noisy and the car did not feel secure. Stopping and starting seemed difficult. This is a very noisy tire and after one season of driving these had to go.

 Bridgestone Potenza G019 GRID

Good tire except for the NOISE! They were fine up until 10K or so, when I though the car's wheel bearings were going. The noise wasn't from the bearings...it was from the tires! To confirm, I swapped to a set of old snows on steel rims... what a difference as my old Michelin snows (6 winters' use) were silent compared to the G019's. I put the G019's back on, rotating them in the process, and the noise just kept getting worse as the kilometres built up. Now at 20K, I can't stand it! It sounds like I've got big lug truck tires on it with studs! It's absolutely deafening at highway speeds. Never again!
