 Nitto Terra Grappler

Excellent tire for a maximum 4,000 lb vehicle. Over that, tire noise excessive, tire wear excessive. At factory spec tire pressure, tires squirm, roll under, bump steer, track the cracks steer, heat up, poor sand performance aired down or up, and decrease gas mileage, vulnerable to cactus thorns from any direction. Only lasted 32k to bald. Switched to E-series terra grapplers at 70psi and got 50k miles per set with rock solid performance, better ride, tight feel. If your vehicle weights over 4,000lbs, these are the tires to get. Impervious to cactus thorns, broken bottles, and screws to 1". Great soft sand performance!

 General Grabber HTS

Oem tires. Blew perfectly circular 1" hole in tread at 400 miles in the entrance to the dealership. Neither nissan or general would warranty the tire. Rotated every 3k due to uneven wear issues. Tires started generating sidewall bulges at 11k, general said-too bad! Squishy in turns, poor traction in all elements due to weak structure, flexing and squirm. Got bulges in tread at 15k eliminating highway travel speeds and wore out at 21k. 32psi would not support vehicle weight. Replaced with nitto's e-series, eliminated all tire problems.
