This is a really good winter tire, my OEM size is 215/45/17. I wanted a little more sidewall for comfort so I went with the 205/50/17. Had mostly driven on dry/wet pavement until 2 weeks ago, hardly any snow. But for the snow that we have (a few inches so far) the tires have performed very well as expected, especially the slushy, slimy snow with road salt in it. Noise levels are good, just a low humming sound, nothing annoying. On the wet/dry road it feels kinda squishy like any other winter tire but does handle pretty good. Comfortable ride as well, doesn't seem like it hits hard when going over small quick bumps. The sidewall is pretty stiff for winter tires and has a rim protector which is good too. This is also a low rolling resistance tire which does help with fuel economy. My litres/100kms average hasn't changed much. I still get between 9.8-11.2 litres/100kms, I drive mostly 70kph and about 100kms a day. I'm am getting another set for my Impreza for next winter, the ones on it now is on its last winter.
