 Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole Position

I purchased my first set of these tires after reading a review about how they really stuck to the road. Braking and emergency cornering traction was most important to me. The reviews were not wrong. I loved driving with these tires. When Bridgestone stopped making them in my size I replaced them with my previous brand and my previous brand felt noticeably mushy and sloppy. I wound up switching to an alternate tire size so I could get another set of the Potenza RS960 Pole Positions for my Prius and they did not disappoint. I credit the grip of these tires with saving my family with injury during a hard stopping incident. My new car will get a set of Bridgestone Potenza Pole Positions as soon as the factory tires wear or maybe sooner if the factory tires are crappy. This is the tire to use when you want your car to go where you steer it. Over-steering may be a concern if you are used to weak traction-less tires. Just do a few tests in a parking lot to get used to the handling.
