Switched from Michelin Primacy mxm4 to these cooper rs3-a tires, and noticed an incredible difference. Cornering is night and day, especially at higher speeds. The coopers grip the road much better with more control and less body roll. Also, in wet conditions my Michelin would often spin taking off from a stop, where as coopers have excellent wet traction and have not once broke loose on me (even after taking off harder in an attempt to spin them they would not break loose). As for ride quality, they are quite and handle bumps well for an ultra high performance tire. Overall they have pleasantly surprised as a great tire, especially for the money and I am glad I purchased them. If anyone is looking to buy these tires I would highly recommend them, and also recommend that you check coopertire.com after you purchase them. There you can find mail in rebate offer entries that are often run with rebates of $50 to $70 for the zeon rs3 series tires.
Very disappointed with these tires. In cold weather or if I do not drive my car at least 25 miles per day these tires loose psi. During this past winter I had to check my tires 2 or 3 times each day to make sure the psi was where it should be. I have had my psi to drop to 14psi on a weekend when I did not drive my car at all. Very disappointed in these tires and the mileage on my tires is 45000 and they is a 90000 warranty on them. These tires cost me almost $900.00 and I cannot afford these tires on a yearly basis. I bought them in good faith that they would be usable for at least 3+ years. Yes they are noisy, but since I am alone most of the time in my car I became use to the noise. Very disappointed in these tires and Michelin.
