I live in Northern Ontario and drive an AWD Mazda tribute. Really, any tire is going perform well on dry or wet roads. I'd have to say I was on the 400 going about 120km/hr in a very hard rain and did not feel like I was going to hydroplane at all. The treads are deeper than most brands out there. This helps for the downpours, snow, and off road. I used these tires for launching a 16ft aluminum boat on back road launches. I use these hunting in all kinds of terrain (light mud, rocks, deep ditches, atv trails). Never got stuck but didn't push it too hard. These are great in the winter! I used these to park in an unmaintained lot all winter in Sudbury, and never got stuck. Very close to winter tire traction but you still have to drive to conditions and I would still recommend winter tires for most people. It looks like they were hard to balance because they have A LOT of clip-on weights they use for balancing but I've had no problems. The tread seems to be wearing very well.
