With about ~15K and 2 seasons on these, I can say that I'm not entirely please with their wet-weather performance as the tire ages. Just the slightest bit of torque at a stop sign will spin these puppies until you let off the gas or the mommy switch kicks in. They've also been difficult to balance.
Good summer tire, but beware in winter!
These were on the vehicle when I bought it, and had at least 1/2 the tread remaining. They look great on the 4Runner. I bought the vehicle i the summer, and the tires were great.
Once I got a few times to drive in snowy and icy conditions, I was scared. Leaving from a stop is fine (full-time 4X4), but the truck fishtails in turns. ABS kicks in immediately when trying to stop on a slippery surface. Example: I was approaching an intersection at 30 mph (speed limit was 40) when the light went yellow. By the time I stopped, I was almost all the way through the intersection.
I am shopping for dedicated winter tires, because these are unsafe.
