These tires served me well for the past three years and 60,000 miles. Used for highway / dirt road - all seasons with great control throughout the Northeast. Great handling in NJ / NY highway-style driving. Comfortable on long haul driving. Minimal noise relative to that you would expect driving a Jeep. Not thrilled with the tread wear but an acceptable trade-off given the service delivered. Now in the market to replace these tires, with out hesitation going back with a set of Pirelli Scorpion STR.
I bought these for a daily driver/weekend warrior wheeler. Had problems getting them balanced initially and that appears to be common with these. Hunter Roadforce balanced and now smoth as silk. Great on the highway dry and wet though snow is another story. I expected more traction from these in that dept. Off road, very good in the sand but gets cut up easily in the rocks and traction is not as good as some of the other AT tires on the market. Mud is not their thing either as they clog easily and don't clear the mud, as expected, just like all AT tires. 1 big bone of contention with me is these things are super short. I bought a 285/75r16 expecting to get a 33" tall tire and this thing is barely 31"! I won't be buying these again as while great on road, they don't hold up well to off road use and certainly don't deliver adequate tration off road. It's best to leave these to street use IMHO.
