I got the staggered setup 245/35/20 and 285/30/20. Sticky tires, very smooth, quiet WHEN NEW, but now my tires are at 6.5/32 and I find it very noisy compared to my Bridgestone Potenza RE760 and for hard cornering, I much prefer my old Brigestone's.
I bought these for my wife's Caddie CTS/4 Sportwagon, after doing some research. The original all season semi performance tires were about 2/3 worn at 50 k miles. The stock tires worked pretty well for the first three winters, but as my wife said, when it was new, "it's no Escalade", ( the car she had before). Well she doesn't say that now! These tires rocked this winter. Our driveway is about 1000 feet long and is a very steep grade, probably over 35 degrees at it's steepest point. Every storm, before I plowed the drive, I'd take the Caddie out and play in the snow with it. I's stop right in the middle of the steepest prt, on a curve to boot, heavily cambered, and it would take off with not a hint of spin! So far wear seems minimal for a soft snow tire, although I advised the wife to take it easy on them and she has been a good girl. Buy these, you won't be disappointed in my opinion. My wife thinks I'm brilliant!
