I've had many highly rated and highly ranked tires. These were by far the best. Lasted me more than 5 winters. Incredible control in wet road conditions and absolutely incredible in snow. I really don't know why it gets a bad rap. I'm going back to these after a terrible set of Yokohama and michelins

 Yokohama Avid Ascend

Great tires, durable, when new great traction on wet and snow. Great comfort, great handling, very low noise. As they get older traction on snow is greatly reduced. Overall great all season tires.

Would never purchase again. I had to replace them after 35000 miles. Noisy, rough riding, not good in snow.

Worst tires I ever had. Cannot be balanced. Vibrate badly over 60 km/hr. Tried to balance them three times at different garages. Wasted my money balancing the tires with no improvement.

Worn down to 3/32 after 26,000 miles. They stayed at 3/32 for an additional 12,000 miles – but who wants to ride on nearly worn out tires?
