Purchased these with a nice set replica wheels a couple years ago. Very comfortable and quiet. The tires are so much better than Michelin's I had in the past. At first I was very skeptical but after the first week of snow. I tried it and took my skeptism and threw it away. It was the best purchase of tires I have ever done.
You are not kidding about the tires are not round. I put a set on 2010 Pilot just before a road trip from Houston to NY. Once I got on the high way above 75, the car start to jump up and down. I try to get it re-balance the next Sunday morning at Goodyear Jackson, Mississippi, but they were closed. Continue the bumpy freeway miles toward Nashville, TN. The next morning, stopped at a GoodYear Nasville to have it rebalance. The manager told me they are very busy this morning. Please bring your car back tomorrow. What the hack. No time to balance a set of tires???
I continue on to Knoxville, and found a Non Goodyear store, but do service the goodyear tire. They re-balance my tires, and top off the fluids. Car now run smooth.
On my way back home, I can feel a slight vibration again. I had it rebalance again when I got back in Houston. It was a Sunday, and I had to wait their for 4 long hours. Today, after15k miles on this new set, I can still fell some vibration above 75mph. No more goodyear for me.
Fortera HL - At 30,000 miles the tires are worn to the bone. No limited warranty by Goodyear if they come as original equipment and no warranty from Honda. Goodyear, give me a good reason why I should buy your tires when they don't last half as long as you warrant them.
I would rate the treadwear a ZERO but there wasn't a rating for that....so it had to be a "1". These tires only lasted 27,000 miles and I drive in town or on the highway. They were rotated as recommended and they didn't pass 27,000 miles (although rated to 35,000.) CRAPPY TIRE! I'm still in shock i have to replace my tires today after an oil change! Went to 3 places and the tread is not good and highway or snow driving not recommended.
