 Hankook Optimo H727

replaced the original OEM tires (Continental) on my Altima at 52,000. Did extensive research and chose the Optima H727 based on reviews. I was especially looking for an all-season tire with some bite in snow.Got the snow bite - very good. Ride is rougher - harder compound tire. Handling is below average. Noise is another issue. The more miles I put on the tires (now at 50,000), the louder they get. Regularly rotate the tires and have checked the alignment. Horribly noisy at normal highway speeds. Contacted Hankook for some advice - only suggested checking alignment which I have already done. As soon as this winter is over I plan to replace them.

The only issue as seen above, so far, is the noise....For some reason, with the good grip (and I have them at 33kPa-they can be at max 40kPa) on the road, comes this slight deep humming that sounds like engine revving. It is noticeable at first, but then after a few drives, it just becomes part of the experience. A bit of noise annoyance is little sacrifice for the surface contact experience. They are good tires...solid...but not sure they are super great! Above average winter tire made in Japan, but not for the Aggressive or Extreme Driver that's for sure!
