 Cooper ZEON RS3-A

My review is based on 4k miles on the RS3-As. I researched for a long time before deciding these would be one of the best tires for my car. I used reviews from different sites along with a leading consumers report magazine. These tires are great for the most part. They behave well on dry and wet pavement, have very good traction on dry with little wheel spin under hard acceleration. Corner well and have a good but not great ride quality. They do exhibit a bit of road noise which I was a little surprised about based on most reviews. HOWEVER: these are some of the worst tires I have ever had in wet sloppy snow and ice. One of the main reasons I bought these tires was that they had a decent rating in snow and one ice for an all season. I live in MN so that part of the tire is important to me. After driving in the snow a few times now I can say these tires are very unpredictable and a bit scary. I've driven in bad conditions in MN for over 35 years and this is only the second time I have been concerned about tire traction in snow and ice conditions. They are downright scary. Sorry Cooper these tires act more like summer only tires then all season.

 Hankook W409 Winter i-Pike

I've been very impressed with this tire. It's not phased by snow or slush and works great daily in all wintery conditions. I would recommend.
