Horrible winter "performance" tires. Previous tires were Pilot Alpin PA3s which were leagues better in both warm and cold dry grip as well as on ice and snow. These tires spin at - 5 on bare pavement leaving in second gear just off idle. The Pilots could handle a full street launch in second and spinning could be minimized leaving in first. Not so with these. With just a dusting of snow and very minimal ice, traction control cuts in constantly leaving every stop, even driving like a hyper miler. If you have a standard transmission and moderate power you're better off spending the extra money and stepping up to Pilot Alpins or Sotto zeros.
I bought a pair of Firehawk Wide Oval AS tires for my 2011 Mustang GT last week. After a day or two of driving I noticed the feel of the tires is that of the feel of a flat tire. They are on the rear of the car and there's a considerable amount of sway in the back end now. I checked the air pressure and it's at 37lbs of the max 40lbs.
