It is hard to judge the handling of these tires when one exploded on the highway after only 30 km. Dealer replaced it and the following year, I had a slow leak around the valve.... horrible tires. I will never buy Michelin again.
Traction in the dry is without question, but what really surprised me was the wet traction and how quiet it was. The noise of course did increase a bit throughout the life of the tire but it wasn't much at all and for me it was only the last 15K miles. I was able to get around 45K out of the tires with out any compromise to traction even in wet. So highly recommend this tire and I will definitely buy it again.
Excellent performance on ice and deep snow in mountains in Pennsylvania and West Virginia and during blizzards while driving to Sudbury. Also, good on wet and dry roads further south. This applies to several trips. Tread still good after 3 winters. Only complaint is noise on dry roads.
I'm live out in the country and was not sure how this tire would handle but I must say I'm impressed with it. Excellent Dry grip for the twisty back roads. Decent grip on wet roads. It's pretty good on dirt roads. It's a pretty quiet tire and rides very smooth considering some of the rough roads here. This tire works for me. I will definitely buy another set.
Excellent handling tires and great traction in wet and dry conditions. However, the worst tread ware of any tire I have ever purchased. Also, very loud and uncomfortable. Mine wore out after 14k. BUY ANOTHER TIRE!
My Mazda had Toyos as OEM, they run out after less of 15000 miles. I repleaced them with Hankook's they are pretty much a great tires. They offter a quiet and softer travel than Toyo's. Right now I have used them for 25000 miles and they look very good, they don't loke worn. As I live in Mexico, I never had the chance to try them on snow.
