 Cooper CS5 Grand Touring

Bought a set of Cooper CS5 Grand Touring, absolutely the worst tires I have ever owned. On Freeways and Interstates this tire wanders to the left then the right constantly. You just get worn out having to constantly correct for the wandering to keep the car in the lane. My previous tires that came on the car were Continental Pro Contacts and were a joy to drive. I see now why car manufacturers don't put Cooper tires on their cars, and Tire Rack does not carry them. Am I sorry I bought these tires! Now I'm stuck with these tires for 3 or 4 years. Never will I buy Cooper tires again.

Knowing that this was a lower price point tire, I can't complain too much. However for my car I would not say that this tire is an all season at all. It is great on dirt and pavement in dry conditions but as soon as we got 1/2" of light snow, cornering was sketchy at best. As far as wet conditions, I would say highway speeds in a downpour are no problem at all even hitting puddles, they have yet to hydroplane. But again cornering on wet pavement is slick and depending on speed, they understeer and tend to push through the apex of a corner. I don't hate them by any means but I'm not so sure I would recommend them either.

These tires are wonderful. I am thoroughly impressed with how they handle in the snow and on ice. They are extremely quiet compared to my factory installed Continentals. I'm a good driver, but I feel even more confident with these on my car. I recommend these tires to anyone shopping in this price point.
