What can I say.... The worst tire since 1998.... Driving has become a chore instead of pleasure. Infiniti cars are such a delight to drive, but this tire made it terrible.. Heavy, noisy to the lever of wooden wheels, road bumps going directly to your body, terrible gas mileage... What else..? Good thing - they are tough, but who would need it?
Great tire. Such a difference comparing to Michelin - Premier A/S - day and night. The car feels and drives as it supposed to. Very responsive, perfect "road feel", gas mileage improved by 10 - 15%. Can't tell about snow - its still summer and I don't use all-seasons in the winter.
Only 12,000 miles of tread-life
I really can't believe I am writing this review. I have purchased Michelin's for decades with one thing in mind, the highest level of quality. My OEM Summer tires lasted 31,000 miles. I went with the All Season equivalent in the Michelin believing they would last a lot longer. I was floored when I had the car in for a brake inspection and they told me the tires were almost worn out. I have only driven them 11,500 miles. I can't believe this is normal for Michelin's. When I went to look them up to understand the tread-wear expectations I noticed they have updated them to a PLUS version. Is this the reason? Was there a wear issue?
This car was pretty much undriveable in snow conditions with all seasons, too much power and too little grip (even with all wheel drive). These tires make all the difference in how the car behaves. It will now go anywhere you point it regardless of how much snow is on the road. They are a little noisy (nothing extreme, just louder than the Michelin pilots it normally wears). They now have 25000 miles on them and still look like new. My father used these tires year round on his van for 6 seasons and 70,000 miles and they still passed a safety. I am still scratching my head at the reviewer who got 15,000 miles out of a set...what on earth were you doing to them...burnouts with a hellcat??
