I drive between 40k and 50k miles per year for my job. Mostly interstate miles in the Midwest. I wanted a tire that would give me snow and rain handling. The noise of these tires were more than I wanted, but getting the control on the rain and snow was worth it. They seemed a bit stiffer too. But, I got 90,016 miles out of these tires, and could have gone more, but they were getting a bit slick in wet conditions. There was a good amount of tread left. Excellent performance throughout the life of the tires. Of course, kept the tires rotated every 5k and the suspension aligned. I got every penny I spent out of those tires, and probably owe Yokahama a bit since I went 150% of the tread wear warranty.
