These tires came with the car. I have only about 32,000 miles on the car and the tires really need to be replaced already. I live in New England and they are terrible in the snow. Even with light snow and on a level road, stopping and starting is a little dicey. I would never replace my tires with the same brand.
Put these on our 2012 VW Passat V6 to replace the very noisy factory installed 18" Hankook optimo's. The Hankook's were getting so bad that i was starting to think that i had a wheel bearing issue...Lol.
I did alot of research before i settled on the Pirelli P7,but so glad i did. The P7's totally fixed the noise issue and the cabin noise is way quiter than when the car was new off the lot. Wet and dry traction is good and these tire are so far doing very well in the snow. I cant comment on tire wear yet but so far i highly recommend these tires on this car.
The tires wear quick, I have a 2012 VW Passat and the tires were brand new. Now I am at 19,000 miles and the tread is gone, even with a warranty of 60,000 mile on these tires. We called the company and they said "oh well, to bad so sad, we guess you have to buy new tires". They didn't even stand by there tire! So you can say I am pissed that I need to get new tires when I only have 19,000 miles on my car.
