Was using Blizzak for the last 2 years. Then they finally worn down to half which is when the winter compound is worn off and then they turn into all seasons. Switched to these Ice Zero's. Very good on ice and fresh snow. Quieter than the Blizzak WS-70. Cornering seems more sturdy. They have little rubber "studs" built in for better ice grip. For the price, I would recommend these and would use them again. Treadwear seems to be very uniform and minimal.
The best tires I have found for the money, hands down. Had these tires for 2 years now and almost 45k miles. The tires have about 5/32nds left now and am getting ready to buy another set of these same tires. The only thing I would improve is to make these a 60k mile tire. Extremely happy.
Have not seen any snow or ice yet.
